· ABOUT ·

Laura Bondì is an Italian singer-songwriter based in Berlin.
Since early 2017 she is performing classic songs from “the Great American Songbook” together with the Ukrainian guitarist Danil Zverkhanovsky in a duo as well as small band setting. While originally searching stylistic authenticity (1930s music, the Swing Era), the project has adopted a more open approach and a sound inspired by Electric Blues and pop music of later periods such as classic Motown and Soul records. This allows her to explore different styles and to give every song an identity while still focusing on the Jazz repertoire and leaving room for vocal and instrumental improvisation.
