Ronî is a Kurd from Syria who completed his engineering studies in Germany. He began to make music with percussions and has been enthusiastic about and inspired by flamenco, which resembles the traditional Kurdish lamentation. It was his friends who then brought him to his favourite new instrument – the GUITAR.
Having Turkish-Egyptian family roots and being raised in Dubai at the Arabian-Persian Gulf then moving to Cairo at the Mediterranean and the Red Sea were enough reasons to create a musician like Ahmad… saturated and familiar with varied cultures.
Mehdi is a Moroccan economics and politics student who grew up among a huge musical diversity from traditional Moroccan music, through the African / Jewish / and the Andalousian styles up to the melodies of the Far East.
