TUESDAY, 25 September, 7pm
Come join us for another #CoworkingTuesday on September 25 with Syrian entrepreneur Sami Al-Ahmad, the founder of both Khatwa خطوةand مرجع MARJ3. In an interactive workshop he will explain how he successfully started his own startup and went to market with little money and high growth – and how you can do it, too!
Sami Al-Ahmad is an AMENDS Fellow at Stanford University.
Based in Cairo, Egypt, since 2012, Sami graduated from the Jusoor Entrepreneurship Competition in 2015 after founding his first startup Khatwa خطوة, a network working alongside civil organisations to support Syrian youth in Egypt looking to enrol in higher education.
Soon after he started his second organisation مرجع MARJ3 and received investment from Flat6Labs (the leading accelerator in the MENA region).
His startup مرجع MARJ3 is the no. 1 platform for scholarships and opportunities in the MENA region which just broke a new record with more than 2 million monthly visits.
Find out more about Sami here in his talk at TEDx AzharUniversity: https://youtu.be/LlsAgB2h33Y
On September 25 from 7pm Sami will share his journey with and delve into the basics of entrepreneurship, especially market fit, and the most common mistakes that entrepreneurs make so that YOU can avoid them. Come to listen and learn and share your own stories and worries!
