Join us on Tues April 10th to explore what it means to be ‘Afropean’ today!
Over snacks & drinks, we’ll chat about a range of things, like:
What are our stories?
Are we visible?
How do our experiences of identity and race/racism differ across Europe’s borders?
What does the word ‘afropean’ even mean and does it make sense?
This will be an open and friendly discussion, facilitated by Londoner Rhianna Ilube, and hosted at be’kech – Berlin’s first anti-cafe.
This event is open to all, so come along and bring others – especially if you relate/identify with the theme of the discussion and want to hear more 🙂
This event is organised independently: the theme of this conversation is inspired by, but not affiliated, with the Afropean blog (check it out here:http://afropean.com/).
Hope to see you there!!
